Latest Work

Ray Phillips Gallery

This is the grand opening of the new Ray Phillips Gallery in Galveston, TX on July 10,2010.
We wanted this short piece of work to blend harmoniously with the artist profile we previously did for Mr. Phillips yet be able to stand on it’s own. The music and style are similar, but we pulled out a few new (old) tricks to add some variance.

Terrible T-Kid 170

(Warning: Some Adult Language)

Terrible T-Kid 170 sits down for a conversation with GONZO247 of Aerosol Warfare. Video by PR!MO of Shoot. Edit. Sleep. Special shout out to Yikes (TKB) & Pilot (FX).

T-Kid is featured in the video game: ‘Marc Ecko’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure’. Also in the book “The Terrible Nasty T-Kid 170,” which chronicles the artist’s life from childhood to the present and features pictures of his work by graffiti photographer Henry Chalfant. He also appeared in the Graffiti Documentary ‘Bomb it’ – directed by Jon Reiss.

Stick ‘Em Up!

Stick ‘Em Up! is an alluring and captivating film that delves into the little known world of wheat pasting, an inner city art form that’s as provocative as it is misunderstood. Documentary filmmaker Alex “PR!MO” Luster delves into the minds and motivations behind several guerilla street artists capturing the lifespan of their art… conception, creation, placement and ultimately the removal by the city abatement enforcement.

With commentary by legendary street artists and from top local law enforcement officials, “Stick ’Em Up!” is a gritty, street smart documentary that reveals the secret truth behind some of the prolific images you see everyday.

Graffiti Proposal

In this video Shannon of Reiswig Photography comes up with a creative plan to propose to his girlfriend Jessica. With the help of artist ACK! and filmmaker PR!MO, Shannon pulled off a one of a kind proposal that Jessica couldn’t resist.

When Shannon first had the idea he knew exactly who he wanted to help him realize his scheme. His only worry was if they would agree. That worry was soon put to rest as he got Houston urban artist ACK! on board to paint the mural and filmmaker PR!MO to produce, shoot & edit the masterpiece. The crazy week of Houston rain proved to be a nuisance. What was originally planned as a two day shoot wound up being realized in the span of a 10 hour day. ACK! worked tirelessly through the Texas heat, Shannon brought in their daughters to participate in the artwork, and PR!MO was there every step of the way to capture it all on video. It couldn’t have worked out any better. Congratulations to Shannon & Jessica on the beginning of a happy life together!

Special thanks to XL Auto Parts for use of their wall for this production.

Ray Phillips

This video profile hi-lights the amazing work of artist Ray Phillips. You get an intimate look into the creative process and the man behind the art.

Mr. Phillips approached Shoot Edit Sleep with a vision, it was our job to make it a reality. From beginning to end this video is all about the art. Every element, transition, subliminal image, visual component… every frame is from Ray Phillips’ work. We tried to push ourselves to new and daring limits. The scariest was leaving one of our cameras suspended 18 feet in the rafters of Ray’s studio for 2 days to record a time lapse that ended up only filling 5 seconds of the finished video.

The final product turned out to be something that everyone involved was extremely pleased with.

Graffiti Gala

Here’s a promo for the upcoming exciting event, Graffiti Gala. GONZO247 talks about details of the street art extravaganza.

We are very proud to be working with the organizers of Graffiti Gala, CKC Start and Aerosol Warfare. This is the first of a serias of promotional videos for this ground breaking event. GONZO247 is one of our favorite people to work with. His explosive personality and contagious vibe shines through and he’s just plain fun.

Really looking forward to the Graffiti Gala!
